Three years in…
Three years in, and the flowers continue to grow. Yet, we are still novices, there's always room for growth and innovation. While our knowledge and experience have deepened, our core practices have remained consistent.
To further our progress and ensure a sustainable future, we're revisiting our original mission: to prioritize sustainability and improve soil health.
With this in mind, one of our primary goals for the upcoming season is to develop an on-site composting system. A static pile aerated composting process using solar power to power an automated air blower. By utilizing green waste from the flower beds and brown materials from the surrounding trees, we aim to create a living compost that will enrich our soil and enhance biodiversity.
Additionally, we plan to finalize permanent growing beds that incorporate no-till, living soil philosophies. This approach will promote microbial soil health and contribute to the long-term sustainability of the farm.
Finally, we hope to gain a deeper understanding of who our customers are. By better connecting with and learning their interests and needs, we can better strive to delight and excite them.
